Shapes and ornaments

Taken from the logo: the temple arch that frames it, the flame, the lotus and the water. The arch is used sparingly as a signature. Photographs otherwise keep a small soft corner. Circles are only for seals and badges, and pills only for buttons and chips.

  • Students sitting in a circle in an outdoor classroom among olive trees in Italy

    Temple arch
The signature, from the logo outline. One or two large photographs per page.

  • Students practicing under a wooden pavilion during a vinyasa yoga teacher training in Portugal

    Soft corner
Every other photograph, large or small. 6px.

  • Stone villa and pool at the Mallorca yoga teacher training venue

    Small photographs
Same 6px corner, so thumbnails never turn into pills.

Captions use small muted text.

Buttons and links

Soft pills with a small arrow after the label. One primary action per decision, text links for secondary routes. Every control is at least 44px tall and shows a clear focus ring.

States: on hover the colour stays the same, a thin ring opens around the pill, the diagonal arrow turns to point straight ahead, and straight arrows nudge a few pixels. Keyboard focus shows the 2px outline and the same arrow movement. Text links darken their underline and move the arrow the same way. Focus also shows a 2px outline. Disabled buttons use a flat fill and cannot be clicked. Links to other pages use a diagonal arrow. Links within the page use a downward arrow.

Fields

Clear labels above each field, with hints and errors written in plain words. Errors use an icon and text, not color alone.

For example, name@example.com

Error: Enter an email address in the format name@example.com.

Available after you choose a program.

Try it

Leave the fields empty or type an incomplete email address, then check the form. Nothing is sent or saved.

Disclosures

Longer program text can fold away. Essential facts such as dates, prices and requirements stay outside disclosures.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Lakshmi Rising’s 200-hour yoga teacher training (RYT 200) is an engaging foundational program designed to deepen your personal practice while introducing the essential skills of teaching.

300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

A unique aspect of this program is that 300-hour students learn alongside our 200-hour teacher training cohort for much of the training. This mixed-cohort model reflects a core belief of the yogic path: that depth is not found by moving beyond the fundamentals, but by returning to them with greater awareness, humility, and insight.

Program cards

A photo, the program name, its key facts and the full description. In a narrow column the photo sits on top. With more room it moves beside the text.

This mixed-cohort model reflects a core belief of the yogic path: that depth is not found by moving beyond the fundamentals, but by returning to them with greater awareness, humility, and insight.

Through this shared learning environment, advanced students have the opportunity to revisit essential teachings through a more mature lens while engaging in dedicated 300-hour coursework, mentorship, projects, and applied teaching practice.

Completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training, through Lakshmi Rising or another recognized school, or equivalent experience, is required for participation.

Testimonial without a photo, with a longer review.

The meals provided by chef Naga were also a thrill to experience. I felt entirely nourished and energized to learn and practice asana. The meal schedule was also based in Ayurveda and felt even more special to sit down to a 3 course menu in the middle of the day with all your new friends. Truly splendid!

Block library

Thirteen generic blocks cover every recurring pattern found on the current site. Editors stack them to build a page and choose from a few simple options per block. Text blocks sit in two columns on wide screens, heading on the left, and the heading can stay in view while a long right column scrolls. The long page shows them working together with real content.

Review checklist

Client review checklist

Open the design preview first, then the design system. Try both on a phone and a computer. Note anything that feels wrong, even if you cannot say why.

Typography

  • Do the large serif headings feel like Lakshmi Rising?
  • Is body text comfortable to read on your phone without zooming?
  • Are the small uppercase labels readable, or too faint?

Palette

  • Do paper, dark rose, sage and olive still feel like your brand?
  • Is dark rose right for buttons and links?
  • Should the olive inquiry section be darker, lighter or a different color?

Identity

  • The arch shapes, saffron badges and seal come from your logo. Do they feel like Lakshmi Rising?
  • Are the added logo colours (saffron, lotus pink, aqua) welcome, or too many?

Photography

  • Are these the right photographs for each section?
  • Are faces and teaching moments visible in every crop, including on a phone?
  • Do you have higher-resolution originals of these photos?

Composition

  • Does the page feel open and calm, or too spacious?
  • Are the dates, locations and prices easy to find and compare?
  • Does the staggered layout of the two programs help or distract?
  • Open each menu item. Can you find every page you expect?
  • Is grouping the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings in one panel clear?
  • On your phone, is the full-screen menu easy to use with one hand?

Controls

  • Are buttons and links easy to recognize and tap?
  • Is it clear which dates are sold out?
  • Are the form error messages clear and polite?
  • Compare the photo header and the video header (switch in the review bar). Which one feels right for the home page?
  • On your phone, does the video header start quickly enough, and does it look sharp?
  • Are the year tabs on the dates list clear? Should the list open on the current year or the next one with open places?
  • Is the footer complete? On your phone, are the folded link groups easy to open?
  • Does the sand footer feel right, or should it be lighter or warmer?
  • Which newsletter service do you use (or want)? Does it need a consent line, for example “You can unsubscribe at any time”?
  • How often does The Lifestyle go out? Saying so beside the field (for example “once a month”) helps people sign up.
  • Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Spotify are the accounts linked from your site. Do you have others to show, such as TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn or a Google reviews page?

Credentials

  • Are the RYS 200 and RYS 300 registrations both current? Could you send the official badge files from your Yoga Alliance account?

Motion

  • Does the opening animation of the photo and heading feel welcome or slow?
  • Do sections appearing as you scroll feel natural?
  • Turn on “Reduce motion” in the review bar. Does the page still feel complete?
